Recognition for your land stewardship

You may want to consider enrolling your property in our land registry program as a first step toward protecting the natural value of your land. Many property owners are not ready to permanently protect their land through other conservation options until they have a long relationship with the land trust or until family circumstances allow.

By registering your land with the land trust, you agree to:

• protect the natural character of your property
• inform the land trust before you transfer the property to another owner
• inform the land trust about any threats such as invasive pests or impending development
