Lanark Pines, a conservation easement granted in May, 2002, contains large tracts of undeveloped land near the Ice Age National Scenic Trail , Hartman Creek State Park, and Northeast Wisconsin Land Trust's other conservancies near Emmons Creek and Long Lake.

It consists mostly of forestland, managed under a Stewardship Forestry Plan
