Coordinator

Dedicated and highly organized volunteer to be our volunteer coordinator. Also in need for an individual to coordinate and/or lead field trips or workdays.

Join a committee

Our Development, Outreach and Education (DOE) Committee is looking for people to join our Events and Outreach Team, Marketing Team and Development and Fundraising Team. Please contact Kari for more information karih@newlt.org.

Community Outreach and Education

• Presenting information about NEWLT to the community (requires public speaking)
• Creating or working on education programs that support our mission of preservation and conservation
• Taking our display to events and answering questions about NEWLT (training is provided)
• Landowner outreach (requires travel)
• Public relations/marketing - design brochures, create videos
• Coordinating and/or working at events and field trips
• Advertising events and field trips
• Providing photography for events
• Fundraising
  

 
Office Administration

• Record keeping
• Thank you letters
• Filing
• Weekly office work
• Requires a dedicated volunteer to provide their service one or two hours per week
  

Membership

Dedicated volunteer to provide their service 3-5 times per year

• Help with mailings
• Write letters
• Monitor responses
   

Stewardship

• Workdays on NEWLT owned preserves
  • Invasive species removal
  • Posting signs
  • Debris clean-up
• Monitor protected properties (involves travel)
