Kayla is a biologist and MBA working to develop alternative fibers to replace forests in paper manufacturing. Growing up in Southern California surrounded by valley oak trees and wildlife, she is passionate about creating a balance between the needs of growing populations and the need for conservation of valuable natural places.
She enjoys serving actively in a number of Fox Valley community service groups, gardening, and ballroom dancing. As a new board member, Kayla is excited to learn more about Wisconsin’s ecology and help the team conserve more land.
