About Bob

Bob Gehringer is an Omaha native who has lived in Menasha for over 40 years. He’s lucky to be married to Natalie and has two children plus grandchildren in California. He’s a graduate of St Olaf College and the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. Trained as a pediatrician he practiced for several decades in the Fox Valley, has served in various volunteer roles locally plus 9 years on the Menasha Joint School District board of education.
A college biology major, Bob has had a life long interest in the environment. Over the last several years, from his small tree nursery, he has donated over 250 saplings to the city of Menasha and the Heckrodt Nature Preserve. For the last 14 years, Bob has volunteered as medical director for the charitable organization Health Bridges International, spending several months annually in Perú where he trains medical professionals in newborn resuscitation and creates permanent training programs.
