A native of Massachusetts, Linda has a background in biology and art, and 19 years nonprofit development experience—mostly recently as grant writer in Chicago, and prior to that, as development director at The Ridges Sanctuary in Door County.  After attending the closing and visiting the Red Banks property her first day of work, Ms. Shealey stressed how the experience “sealed the deal” for her at NEWLT: “Protecting places like this is so important and impressive, and it’s incredible that they’re still right in our own backyard. When a community comes together to preserve what is special, the environmental and community benefits cannot be overstated.”
