About Brenda

Brenda brings an impressive background to the land trust from her 32-year employment with Kimberly-Clark Corp. in fields ranging from strategy, continuous improvement, business planning, environmental sustainability and manufacturing. Her volunteer work in the Fox Cities include the Emergency Shelter of the Fox Valley,  TCCES Education board, Green Peace, United Way and World Wildlife Fund among others. 

 

“I am supportive and aligned to the mission of the land trust and I have been impressed by the people I have met who are part of the current board of directors,” she said.  Brenda Nelson wanted to get involved in environmental sustainability opportunities at a more local level. She sees her board membership as representing a great opportunity to do so.
